Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Offload marketing site, product, onboarding flows, support interactions, and related communications.

If a signed customer agreement, student data addendum, or data processing agreement applies to a school, that signed agreement may add more specific terms for school-provided records.

Information We Collect

• Public visitor and contact information, such as name, work email, phone number, school name, website, and any details submitted through our forms.
• School-provided records, such as student, guardian, staff, admissions, academic, attendance, finance, communications, and medical information entered by a school or its authorized users.
• Usage, device, and log information, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, referring pages, and security events.
• Payment and transaction information needed to process billing through payment providers and reconcile school finance activity.

How We Use Information

• To provide, secure, maintain, and improve Offload.
• To authenticate users, enforce permissions, and prevent unauthorized access.
• To respond to support requests, onboarding questions, and product inquiries.
• To process payments, send service messages, and maintain business records.
• To comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and investigate misuse.
• To improve the service using aggregated or deidentified information where permitted.

How We Share Information

• With the school customer and its authorized users as part of normal product use.
• With service providers that support hosting, storage, messaging, support, analytics, and payment processing, subject to contractual restrictions.
• When required by law, court order, or valid legal process, or when needed to protect rights, safety, and platform security.
• As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal obligations.

Do Not Track and Third-Party Tracking

As of the effective date of this policy, the Offload marketing site does not change its behavior when a browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Offload does not knowingly use the marketing site to run cross-context behavioral advertising or permit third-party advertising networks to collect information about a consumer's online activities across different websites over time through the marketing site. Third-party providers that deliver infrastructure or embedded assets may still receive technical request data from a browser when those resources load, and their handling of that data is governed by their own policies.

Student Data Commitments

Offload is built for K-12 school operations. Student records provided for K-12 school purposes are handled for the use and benefit of the school.

As of the effective date of this policy, Offload does not use pupil records for targeted advertising and does not sell pupil information provided for K-12 school purposes.

Review, Correction, and Privacy Requests

Schools manage most school-controlled records directly in Offload. Parents, guardians, eligible students, and other individuals should usually start with the school when requesting access, correction, export, or deletion of school records.

You can also use our dedicated privacy request form and identify the school, the record type, and the action requested.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page and revise the policy text to reflect the change.
